What is Forest PreKamp?

In conjunction with Fircreek Day Camp and Awesome Summer Adventure (ASA), Firs & Fiddleheads offers a 5 day, full-day PreKamp for children ages 3-6 years old.

Forest PreKamp is a completely outdoor experience and an extension of the same beliefs that guide us during our school year.  We aim to give children the opportunity to explore and discover the wonders of God’s creation, to foster curiosity, and to provide room for adventure, all while harnessing the excitement of summer camp.

It is important we are able to keep children safe as they play, learn and grow. Our staffing to child ratio is 1:6, with additional support staff when needed.

Please note a few indicators to determine if your child is ready for our Forest PreKamp.  We ask that you be able to answer YES to the following questions:

  • My child is potty trained and can tell an adult when they need to use the restroom.
  • My child can follow simple directions.
  • My child does not run away when upset.
